Ugh I'm so tired. But not as much drama nowadays.

Anyway I am working on designing a website for an art web-portfolio, and taking art classes, finally. I still want to use this as a sketch journal, but for now I will not worry about that until the site is up and running. This schedule is much more laid back than last semester, and hopefully communication and econ will be offered this summer so I can just whip out a decent grade and focus on the good stuff this coming fall.

I swear I can make all of the plans in the world, but I think I'm better off putting HW first and letting the art projects come as they... well, come.

Alaska is cool, I don't particularly care for the method used to get me here, but I am getting counseling, am on meds, and am finally getting my shit together (not to mention losing a little weight) so I guess it's all good. Hopefully in a year or two I can try making friends with Taryl again, but this time do it right.

Gah.

I am such a social retard.

Just finished the game on easy mode, and I'm absolutely positively going to have my PS2 and the games shipped to me a.s.a.p., so I can replay the game on God-mode (hardest). Oh dear sweet Jesus. Awesome game. So good.

But it made me remember that a few weeks ago I realized that I didn't want to draw comics first, I wanted to make video games. In fact, my first original set of characters were for a video game. Hell, when I imagine story ideas and how I can turn them into comics, I imagine them turned into games and fantasize about playing them too, with the rare exception of one story that would be horrible as a game).

Maybe that's my calling! But I don't know. I would only want to design the characters/levels and story, I wouldn't want to do any actual 3D modeling or animation. I would have no patience for it. :]

On another note, I'm probably never going to play Shadow of Collosus now that I've watched my brother play and beat the game; so not only do I know the ending but I know that there is only one ending, which is depressing. Makes me want to go out and buy Ico. Oh, and I absolutely loved the realistic movements of SoC, so if I ever did make the game I've got flying around in my head, I'd want them to work on it.

Was playing around with my watercolors and wound up with something looking like my GW fancharacter, so I went with it. Her name is Mona and she is a Duo twin, but she's also a sociopath and has MPD. She is depressed most of the time because she has a lot of trouble relating to people, and while she's a loose cannon, on medication she is shy and gentle. She grows up with Heero and doesn't take any liking to her brother until she is medicated. <3 Duo love!

She has blood on her mouth and sometimes she likes to eat people's innards




This is try #2 of part 2 of my project 1 (ha). It's not that great but I wanted to show off the fact that I got the concept down right as rain.




And this is marker practice... didn't go too well, but at least I know that Sakura Micron pens DON'T leak. I'll get the hang of it. Next marker practice is on cheap watercolor paper to see how the paper takes that... bristol board seems to take it okay.
